When you work for someone else you need to remember that they don't have your back, only YOU have your back. So your salary/time must be your first priority and the company must be second priority. You should also remember at the first sign of trouble they would likely **** you, so if the choice comes between a nice night out with friends or working late on a project that isn't done through no fault of your own, you should probably choose the night out. After all, which are you more likely to remember 30 years down the road? I always have to tell myself this stuff because it's easy to get wrapped up in and care about something that just isn't yours to care about. Pride in the quality of your work is about all I feel you should have unless you own the place.

The deal at my place is some weird unspoken rule about working late. They pay me for a 40 hour week. That's what they get... with the very rare exception that we're opening a new facility or the board is going to personally review a project of mine that isn't finished or something like that.

Also, I got a lead on seats for the m3. Will be so sweet if the dude takes my offer because they're pretty nice and local for easy cheap pickup on the trailer.

or we could put them in the back of the xb, take the extra time needed to load them on and off the trailer, and use that time drinking beer.

I got smoked 2 times this weekend. I am really thinking about a 150 dry NO2 mod... Got raped by a C5Z(runs 10s) and a Termi(guy was a tool and wouldn't tell me what all he had done but I ran him anyway just because its fun). Termi put about 2-3 car lenghs on my by 100. Vette was about 3 tractor tailors by 120.

I love that 95% of your posts have to do with beer.

That reminds me this morning I took a WRX wagon with bolt ons and a shocker sticker near the exhaust with the 540. With the a/c on ;) That car accelerates scary quick at high speeds. Must be very aerodynamical or something. I thought those with boltons and a tune are well over 300HP but maybe not. He was cool about it. It's a very abnormal situation where someone gets over for me out of respect because no matter how hard he tries I'm crawling up his ass ;) Usually that's me in the M3 with some STI. Just wait till I get the turbo... muhahah eat my 600HP.

We could just leave them sitting on the trailer and sit in them while drinking beer in the front yard like rednecks. That sounds strangely fun to me. It's my redneck past.

Julie and I were just talking about that last night. Thinking to ourselves since we don't work on Monday it wouldn't be a bad idea.

So I hobbled my one legged self down to the beach, got drunk and started wondering. "how am I getting home and up 4 flights of stairs?"

Wow that sounds like a great deal. Been a little busy lately. Going to beach for the weekend Friday night.

Probably selling my 4.10 gears now. Don't think I want to do them anymore for the time being.
