I personnally wouldn't run that flywheel with a stock 7bolt engine with that many miles.

well, i think my buddy said he would be picking it up today while im at work.....i never heard any bad things about fidenza.

any other option? just resurface the stock flywheel?

of course my phone is broken at the moment so i cant call to see if he bought it yet.

EDIT: I have an appt for friday morning to have the clutch/flywheel installed. I should be driving her by saturday afternoon.

allright, clutch install is almost complete. monday morning they will finish it up. some things they found at the service center:

-front two struts are leaking.......(megan racing coilovers perhaps would fix the issues????? [haha])
-Mouse rest in the tintake box. (HAHAHAHA)
-slave cylinder is leaking (which was replaced)
-oil is old.

they are installing an OEM quality throuwout bearing, im not using the fidenza one.

i'm gonna try and get it inspected monday morning as well.

just cleaned up the piping and BOV for future installs. picked up a new vibrant filter from extreme psi (who rock, as always).

I miss the car!!!!

I JUST realized this....he gave me some MSD ignition thing.....i just opened it today.....

It's a 2-step and complete ignition control. hahahahha, STILL finding out what I have been gifted here!!!

and the gauge pod as well.....

I swear, god lowered this car from the heavens. lol.

the seller gave me a 1g BOV...

I did this.....much better

I did up up the new plug wire cover:

I painted the gauge pod as it had scratches:

I'll see what else I can scheme up to do.........

ok, front brakes are good, rear brakes are 50% done. clutch is GOOD. i had to take it back, pedal was on the floor. there were some air bubbles in the master cylinder. i was like WTF!!!!

should be all good to go after an iol change and coolant flush.

actually, i bought it from an engineer who makes microchips. he knew it was a good car but he didnt use it anymore, and he wanted the extra stuff out of the garage.

he maintained it well for it's age.

Progress from last night:

-Boost gauge installed in dash
-Turbo timer installed
-B&M short throw shifter installed w/shift knob
-1g BOV installed
-Rear diff fluid checked...it amber, clean as hell. NO shavings as all on the magnet filler cap :D :D :D

today:
-master cylinder
-inspection
-put miles on the car
-listen for the rear end harmonic noise.....maybe wheel hub.

and the infamous "the last guy cracked the valve cover & epoxied it" valve cover.......grrrrr

master cylinder is in, finishing up on that, then inspection.

i can't wait. this car has definitely received a ****load of TLC in the last month!!!

EDIT: car runs like a dream! i'm goin' junkin for another valve cover right now.

-had to retighten the lug nits, driving it worked them loose cornering....

-adjusted clutch pedal FINALLY. car is running great.

-Transfer case fluid changed with redline :D. that crap came out like burnt chocolate....and my driveline noise is now 90% gone. poor car!

-I still have to check for E-PROM

-deal fell through for wheels/tires. I still dont know what aftermarked wheels i want...too many choices on color and spoke design......

just a lil update. sorry nothing specatular! lol.

Holla if you ever need a hand! I'm right over by Franklin Mills and wouldn't mind dropping some knowledge if you need it. Sell that MSD system, guys have run 10s on our stock system, it's that burly.

Agreed. I still run the stock ignition. Sell it and use the money for something you will need!
