4th annual Creatures of the Night car show, York pa, July 24th 2010

Hi guys new on here, and this is my first post. The guys over @ DMS performance suggested the site, and I am glad to have found it. Anyway, here is a night show that our club (Visual Reality c.c.) puts on every year, and we hope to see some of you come out. Its going to be a great time!

Creatures of the Night 2010 information: Saturday July 24th 2010. Rain or shine! Presented by Visual Reality cc in association with The Art Institute of York. (formerly known as the Bradley Accademy for the Visual Arts) NEW BIGGER LOCATION!!!!!!!! Location is @ 1409 Williams Road York, PA 17402. It's very easy to find, off of PA Rt 30 not far from the I-83 interchange. Registration starts @ 4:00PM and goes until 7:00PM. Registration cost is $10.00 night of show. As always spectator entry is free.
Awards to be given out @ 10:30 PM in the following Classes:

>Chrysler Sport Compact,
>Ford Sport Compact,

>Domestic Other (1986-present)*Wild,
>Open Car (1985 and under),
>Minitruck Domestic,
>Minitruck Import,
>2wd Truck/ SUV/ Van,
>4wd Truck/ SUV/ Van *Off Road,
>4wd Truck/ SUV/ Van *Street,
>Special Interest,
>Motorcycle ALL,

Specialty awards go as follows:
Best Neons (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place), Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best In Car Entertainment (I.C.E.) install, Best Girl Ride, Best Under Construction, Club Participation, Highest Vehicle, Lowest Vehicle, Best of Show Car, Best of Show Truck. (Best of Show Vehicles also win the front spot on following years show flyer!)

Neon Glo off. Hi/ Low contest. Tatoo contest hosted by BBTZ Tattoo. Hot Wing eating contest hosted by Brocks catering and BBQ. We will have food and drink Venders, 50/50 drawing, Door prizes and givaways, D.J. Honda spinning the beats. Games and/or additional contests are to be announced.

* Entrys into "Wild" categories will have 3 or more "major modifications", ie: Body kits, Air or Hydraulic suspensions, Aftermarket turbo kits and/or engine swaps, Crazy custom paint, Custom upolstered or fiberglassed interiors, gigantic stereos, etc...You get the idea. Under 3 "major mods" will be allowed to compete in the "Mild" categories. 4x4 class assignment will be assessed by aggresivness of vehicle tire treads or potential off road capability of said vehicle. A "Street" 4x4 would be a 4wd vehicle which could not be taken off roading. Lowest vehicle measured @ bottom of door, Highest vehicle measured @ bottom of rocker panel/ pinch weld.

For info or help day of show call (717) 779-8951. We ask that everyone please refrain from any Burn-outs or Dragging @ the show. Playing of car stereos is ok as long as it is kept at a resonable sound level and of acceptable content in a PG-13 type environment. Weapons, Drugs, and Alchohol are strictly prohibited. Visual Reality cc reserves the right to refuse admitance to any persons or vehicle, which in our sole opinion is not keeping with the quality or safety of the show.

Talk about a good turnout! We had 400+ parking spaces for show cars, minus what we used for vender spaces, and STILL jam packed the place. Pics can be found on www.carshowcoverage.com for those interested. Thanks to all our sponsers, venders, and especially all the show attendees who came out for the evening, it was great! Any suggestions for next year, things you liked, things you didnt, let us know. We do this event for you, not us so give us the feedback we need to make it the best we can for you for next years show. Once again, thanks to all for your support! Oh, btw, most of the proceeds from last night are going into a scolership fund for the Art Institute. I beleive I neglected to mention that before.
