Good luck! They pop up here and there but more often than not, OGs pick them up, part 'em, and are on the the next one before anyone even knew they existed. I'd love to pick up a stock 2GB Talon.

Hey thanks for the offer! I always watch your for sale threads pretty closely. I'm in no position to buy another car though, even if I sold my current Talon. I'll be riding this baby out for a while lol

thats stock? my old gst came with the infinity system but it definitely looked a little bit different then that one.

yes, thats the top of the line infinity. It even has the CODE message u need for anti-theft if u remove it. I have a picture of it with instructions in the talons' owners manual

Too bad its now an ACT 2100, not too much of an anti-theft anymore

lol. The 2600 hundred took a dump on me. It was missing a few fingers. I found a pretty good use for the broken PP though. I'll post a pic when I can.

ACT 2600s should have been the stock clutch in DSMs, it'd sort out the weak. I remember after putting my first one in and driving it around for a week thinking that every time I let it out that I was going to wind up kneeing myself in the jaw, and distinctly remember it getting easier to manage after about two weeks. Then, later that month, I was taking a poop one fine day, looked down at my left thigh and started laughing at how much it was jacked up compared to my right one. I compensated by just kicking more ass daily with the right one, but I'll never be the same.

Ever drive a 2G with a 2600? I don't know why it's so different. The 2G with a 2600 feels like a stock clutch compared to the 2600 in a 1G!

Yeah, I never understood that. I can't think of a whole lot of mechanical differences that would make it feel so much heavier either. Maybe it's in the pedal design. I mean you never hear of 2Gs needing their PA's rebuilt or replaced. Just another one of those DSM things, Jess.

Haveblue83: I have a mint valve cover that I can paint / clear northstar white with automotive paint/clear, When I do your front bumper... I should have the front bumper down for next week. I got really backed up yet again.

I have another 98 GSX coming tonite. I will post pics of the two new ones of mine that arrives yesterday and today, And I'm still waiting for the others to arrive!

just curious, mine didn't have that one. It did how ever require the code if for instance the battery died for a long period of time.

I think the head unit was based on if you had the CD changer in the back or not. Mine is just a single disk unit. It just had the CD and cassette built in up front. It's a really nice radio for being stock. I've never even through of swapping it out.

I enjoy stopping at yard sales and buying cassettes. I always end up losing them though.
