Today is awsome. Might make some side money on a side job. My bosses Durango broke. She took it to the dealer and they told her a valve spring broke and they want $2800 to do it. I'm thinking easy repair and at most a full days work. Check valves, replace all springs, rods, lifters, have heads machine to make sure they aren't warped or anything, and new gaskets, and maybe do timing..

That hurts... because I went sleding at my house in full motorcycle gear when we had the big ass storm. I blame it on cabin fever... not going full retard though.

Hey all, hope you all are doing well. Nothing tooooooo exciting for me this weekend. Going to the city tonight, which I hate if it's anything other than a sporting event. Other than that, work tomorrow 10-4 then changing brake shoes on the Monte Carlo.

Sam, I might stop by Pepboys tomorrow later in the day, you going to be there?

Thats where you have to convince her that the Durango isnt WORTH $2800, and that its essentially totalled.

Then you give her a grand for it, fix it, and boom. 3k profit.

I don't think I could be that shady. I had to quit my job at Rent-A-Center because I couldn't do crap like that.

Haha, yeah Id feel bad doing it too. But, if youre capable of fixing it yourself, you could definitely do it for her, make a nice penny, and still save her a buttload. I do work on most of my friends cars for free... and all of my friends are poor. So I'm constantly putting band aids on gunshot wounds.

That's only about a third of the books I have, though. The others are still on the 'old' bookshelf. And not all of 'em are Stephen King, but a lot of 'em are that genre. I guess I like weird, semi-creepy things.

Just finished a book called 'Angelology' .. it got good reviews and I figured I'd like it since I also liked 'The DaVinci Code' and 'Angels & Demons'. And I did enjoy it. Now I'm just starting a new book -- I can't even remember what it's called -- about life inside one of the highest security prisons in the country.

Can't help it, I'm a dork that likes to read.
