So glad I didn't buy into the Apple is God thought process. FYI my WM phone that I bought in 2006 works just as good today as it did new. I love my 8125.. it so old it even says Cingular still on it.

I mean, I still say that no other phone has anything on the iphone. The droid doesnt compare.

Even with all the problems the iphone has, i wouldnt trade it for any other phone. When i upgrade to the iphone 4, ill be keeping my 3gs just to have as a backup. I'm an iphone nerd, i kill my battery at least twice a day from using it so much.

it's great if you actually get the use out of it. i just can't stand when people say things like "my phone is too old, i need the new one."

Lol, I know I dont NEED a new one. I just WANT the new one. Latest and greatest, you know how it is. Thats why its nowhere near the top of my priorities. Before i drop $200 on a phone, my car WILL have a running SR.

But your buying the same thing you already have except it is slightly faster, worse receiption, and a slighly better camera. To me, that is the same as buying a 2005 Mustang GT and then trading it in for a 2007 Mustang GT. Same exact thing with a few tweaks.

The biggest factor for me is the battery life improvement. The 4g isnt that much better in terms of battery life than the 3gs, but my 3gs' battery life comes nowhere near what a new 3gs battery lasts. Its a year old, and where a full charge used to last me MOST of the day, now I can barely make it til the end of the work day before needing a charge. I could send it out and have the battery replaced... or i could just get a 4g.

Toughie.

Yeah, iphone4 isnt at the top of my priorities, but then again, neither is fixing my 3gs. SR20 first, iphone later.

So your saying the EVO 4g, droidx, soon to be droid 2, droid incredible, nexus one, and galaxy S has nothing on the iphone?

meh, i love my 3gs. had the original 2g when it first came out and upgraded to my 3gs in march. iso4 is a little buggy but i still like it just fine. don't know if i could switch to another phone after having an iphone.

I really don't care about this kind of stuff but my co worker has that HTC evo 4 and it does some pretty impressive stuff.

He was very excited that I have 4g in my neighborhood and we got to see just how fast it is. The google street view while walking thru manhattan was pretty dam cool as well.

I had the 3g and upgraded to the iphone 4 and it is a HUGE difference and I LOVE my new iphone.

But saying that. I wish is didnt get and got the EVO instead. The evo is out of this world compared to the iphone.

whoevers got the 4.0 upgrade on their 3G just go to modmyi.com and do a search on downgrading from 4.0 to 3.1.3 and all your troubles will go away!! thats what i did-steve jobs put out that update to MAKE everybody hate their 3G's and want to get the new one!

my boys got the EVO and i luv it..theres so many new phones that have way more things on them that the iphone doesnt have..im still undecided if i wanna upgrade to the iphone 4
