Friday Night King of Prussia IMAX Subaru Meets

Hello all,
First time posting on the tri-state tuners forums. I figured I'd hop on over to these forums to see what kind of interest I can muster. Anyways, I'm having a subaru only meet at the King of Prussia IMAX every other Friday at 7 PM. The meet on the 18th was a success which brought out about 15 guys. I expect about the same for our next meet which is Friday July 2nd, but the more the better. I have the same thread posted over on Nasioc but I know many people despise those forums so there's bound to be some people interested over here. Once again I'd like to keep this to the subaru community only.

PICS:

Maybe you could do it Sundays like the other meet that is already there in the same location.

No offense, But maybe you could see that he does not want other cars beside SUBARUs there as to keep the douche-bagary to a minimum. Since its soo hard to keep meets going between cops shutting things down and property owners kicking people out.

I agree, It would be awesome to have more subie's show up at our Sunday meet

... But good luck with these bi-weekly friday meets, shouldn't have any problems from the PD.

Apparerntly we are all morons if we don't own a Subaru now... I don't see it that way though. If you want a Scubi only meet post on a Scoobie forum. This placeis for ALL cars :-) If you wanna feel special, you can all park in the same row? :-)

The way I see it is that you have 2 meets that are at the same location, only days apart...People will go to 1 and not the other thus hurtign each meet to an extent. Combining them would only make logical sense. More cars, more new people, ect. If either night messed up, both meets would be SOL so it really doesn't make a difference. I'd rather see 1 very successful meet rather then 2 'just OK' meets.

This place is for all car ENTHUSIESTS. If certain members want to organize a model specific meet I fail to see the negative impact. It's not like anyone there would be rude to another TST member (besides a little ball breaking ) if they showed up in a non-subie. The fact that it's on a Friday night works a hell of a lot better for me since I never have to work on a Saturday and KOP is 45 minutes to an hour from my house.

OP.... I'll see ya Friday!

Spoken like a true non-subaru enthusiast.

It is posted on the biggest subaru forum on the web "NASIOC" ,but the regional forums ( where its posted ) dont get much action for networking meets and NASIOC's Tri State forum is for Connecticut , New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania.....witch is a large area. So it was suggested that it be posted on TST as well to get a better local subaru crowd. We where hesitant to put it up on TST due to TST meets seem to get shut down due to all kinds of things some good and some bad and some for no good reason at all ( the Ross Meet ). We where aware of the TST meet on Sundays and intentionally decided on another night as to not interfere, infringe or confuse the current Sunday TST meet. I believe sb04wrx and the other coordinators could have not done anything more to keep you from being offended.

Oh and here are just a few other TST car make specific meets on TST that I know of

I don't really care about specific car meets or TST. A good time is a good time. There was a dick response to my suggustion so I figured why not get smart?

wow, haven't checked this thread in a few days. Thanks for covering my butt Tom! Anyway, to backup what Tom was saying, I only posted this on here out of suggestion. I figured it would attract people within the subaru community who do not get on Nasioc much. The meet on Friday's are for people who cannot make the Sunday IMAX meets, and for those who want a meet for the subaru community in particular. This thread was not started to attract smart comments, haters, or all of the above. I posted it hoping we would see some new faces. That is all. If you have a subaru and would like to come out on Friday around 7pm, we'll see you there. If not, then go to the meets on Sundays.
