Just bought this today for $750 with a bunch of spare parts. here i will post the cleanup, and tasteful mods I do to the car. no big power plans, I am just happy to be back in a DSM again :D The clutch is SHOT, i can move it around but it's slipping all over the place. other than that and rotors the car is SOLID.

EXTRA STUFF:

after a wash, vacume job and quick cleanup of the engine bay:

after Zaino-ing the roof with compound, which took away the faded non shiny oxidation layer and brought back the shine:

this shot shows after and before line:

thats where I am right now. I'll be posting more as I progress. not bad for only owning the car since 4PM this afternoon.....LOL.

removed the wing and cleaned some more. spraying the wing black tomorrow.

nice and clean now

tomorrow i go junkin for a driver side rear tail light and a pass side power mirror. maybe I'll do an oil change and rotors. we'll see.

Winnar. You hardly ever see them in that shape anymore, and if they are, they're converted to Eclipses; makes me happy. 2GB conversion ASAP.

lol. i'm kinda diggin the 2ga, with the fogs ans everything it looks original.

i dont know if it's EPROM. solid rear rotors, so it's not early 95.

I love how the DSM factory sticker is on the hood, both doors and the frame. all body panels are original i believe.

the last owner had if from 50K to 149K. he told me all he knew.

polished the headlights, cleaned the area under the rear spoiler some more, and i'm not painting the wiper arms satin black. Right now this is a restoration. And I Love it

first coat of paint....

have some cleaning to do here. valve cover, rad support and strut towers look SOOO much better.

need wipers and gloss black paint.

very nice black power mirror and black surround center vent assy. $35. no tail light yet. the talons were gone. Still looking for pass side window controls/plastic piece.

autozone rotors. I'm getting HPS pads this week along with the clutch/flywheel. Valvoline high mileage 10W-30.

progress:

oil change after this if i have time....

after today i have to wait till next week some time to get the clutch and brake pads from extreme psi. then I'm driving this thing daily

. i'm keeping it at my parents house so i wont see it this week.

^^first off, sorry the hear about the engine troubles!. As for the parts, my buddy is picking up some stuff today for me, including hawk pads all around. lol. I need this stuff pretty quickly, and extreme psi is about 5 miles away from me.

rear spoiler is painted, we are prolly gonna wet sand later, just had enough time to instal it before the rain showers came through. I won't see the car till next weekend.

If you're interested, I might be parting out my 93 TSi, including 1000CC injectors, an FP Green 20G, a 6bolt block, and a ton of supporting mods, like enough to see 11s and over 400WHP. I don't know what your plans or budget are, but give a shout if you think you'd be interested as I'm about 15mins from Extreme PSI also.
