I love how everyone always just starts flinging bs at this guy for a setup that actually works to serve purpose. No offense to anyone but the whole "flush" fit trend is WAY overplayed, not to say I don't like some cars built that way. However, to those uptight thread bashers you definitely all need to go get a prescription of Xanex and chill.

To the OP- Your setup looks purpose minded and frickin badass, I LOVE it.

Im not sure how I feel about this, It looks super agressive for the street. Before I got my work's I was running a 275/40/17 on my 9.5 advans and it was a super meaty looking set of tires for the street. I loved them cause with so much sidewall I really didnt worry about pot holes and other fun stuff on the street. This is definantly way more agressive then the way my car sat before, and I like it alot. This is the only half decent picture I could dig up

i mean, but your tires do have a slight stretch to them... seems like you're doing what lots of others are, you just tried to push the envelope further, too far IMO. you've taken it from hella to mexi . whats the offset on the wheels? and hows turning, bumps, and driving the car hard going? do you plan to leave it as is or do you have more fender, wheel/tire, or suspension changes in mind?

Stance nut cuppers making fun of "tires wearing out prematurely and rubbing" on someones car...oh the irony.

You should most definitely start a HellaBEEFY movement and tell stance fanboys "they are doing it wrong".

Definitely looks mean, I think with a fender roll or some widebody fenders this would look insane.

I gotta side with people, the tires are HUGE.

IMO if you want to keep the car functional, you have a few choices.

1. Narrower tire, not skinny, but realistically a 255 radial all around is a bit silly for a street car, you'll be hard-pressed to get those tires hot enough to really work at 100% potential on the street anyway, and if you try to meet that mark, you'll be going extremely and unsafely fast.
2. Hack away at your fenders, either roll and HARD pull/flare, or cut them and slap on overfenders or aftermarket flares. With how that fits, it looks like any decent ammount of suspension compression will demolish your fenders (might happen when you're going dangerously fast trying to heat up the tires lol)
3. Camber...all jokes aside, some camber is beneficial, just a few degrees will make a big difference in handling, appearance, and practicality.
-or-
Combination of any/all of the above.

If they were ~5mm more sunken in, it would have been MUCH better. It just doesn't look right, and I can't imagine that you can do any kind of agressive driving with such a beefy fitment. Not trying to be rude or mean or make your car "hellaflush" but that's just not right.

It looks like he didn't do his research and ordered the wrong tires... its never going to fit without flares or a ridiculous amount of body work. I don't understand how this is different than crazy stretch and camber. I hate people who brag about being the lowest or having the smallest tire on a wide wheel, but this is no different.

Just because its a taller sidewall doesn't make it any more functional or different. You know how many times I've seen this on 240 or BMW boards, alot and its because the owner didn't know what he was doing.

I mean if that's what you tried to do, go for it but I don't see why you would want this setup. Maybe shed some light on your intentions OP, unless its just to look cool.

?? I wanna have greater than a 300 wide tire in the future. I'm a basic bolt-on fox and I certainly don't go fast enough to heat them up. Should I stick to the 225's I've got now?
