Yeah Mark, that's what I'm thinking, its gone somewhere in the engine. Draining oil at some point.
Not according to searching around for jobs down there... their wages are on par and/or higher than mine.

Be careful with that. Don't believe it until you actually get the job. In Sarasota for instance you see tons of jobs posted $100K+ but we know people down there who are ceilinged at $60K-$80K. They seem to lie. As long as you get a job before moving though, what do you have to lose?

EDIT: actually less than that I think. $50K-$60K

Also at least on my bmw v8, there is a vallet pan gasket that can develop leaks and the coolant will slowly cook off the top of the engine. My 540 consumes maybe 1 ounce of coolant every 2 months through that gasket. I'm not bothering to replace it until it really leaks. That doesn't explain losing an entire overflow tank though. That should be detectable.

No... lol, it's not that, I'm talking about hourly. I've never had a salaried job.

Thats because even though it is supposed to be good for 5 years/100k miles, it still gets acidic over time. I flush mine every year even though I don't 'need' to and haven't blown a gasket yet in any car I've had.

So, I have to hang a picture frame in my office. The frame comes with screws and little mounts. My boss gave me a hammer to hang it with. Wtf am I going to do with that?

Jul, moving for the sake of moving sounds like you will have the same stress just in a new location. If things are difficult here, try to change things here.

I looked at house prices in Florida (Tampa-St Pete's area). You can get more square footage for your money. The property taxes were also double what they in the tri state area. I also think there is sales tax on everything in Florida. But there is no state income tax. Does it all even out? I am not sure. I personally hate having high fixed expenses.

Angelo, I'm not moving to get away from stress, moving because I like it down south better than I like it here. I want to live way more south than Pennsylvania is, that's all. And things have changed considerably here but that doesn't mean I still don't want to move.

My parents just bought a house on Memorial Day weekend down in Jupiter, Florida. I don't ever expect to be able to make the time to go down there and I don't see how they will either. Guess they thought it would be good investment for down the road as well.

I'm playing Scrabble on Facebook with a friend of mine at work. When it's slow on the phones we have to occupy ourselves with something haha.

I just don't get when people actually fall for that stuff. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
