This is probably going to annoy you, but in a down market i've had the most success walking my resume into places I want to work by foot. I don't know why but it seems to actually get someone to read it. It helps for people like me without a degree because it can get you past HR pretty quickly to someone who actually understands what's on the paper.

Well, first of all, lol, I'd hand my resume in that way but being as most of the Craigslist job listings are anonymous, kind of hard to do.

I didn't think many companies were cool with people just randomly showing up. I might have to give that a try. I want mo' money.

thats not so bad Jul. I designed a 15 page brochure for my company, it cost over $8k to get 2,000 of them printed. well wouldn't you know that our address was misspelled on the back cover. I literally almost died. I started to pack my desk up thinking i was going to be fired the next day. **** happens ya know. it's all good just makes you learn a valuable lesson.

In reading hundreds of job listings... Most companies are not even okay with you calling to ask about jobs, let alone walking into their company to hand a resume in.

Everything is literally done electronically to make it easier on themselves. They have filters to get down to the people that actually qualify for the job, and then they would contact those people in the end of their filters for an interview.

Thats what I noticed too. The things that made me the most mad when job hunting is they typically don't list hours or salary ranges. The calls I got back for so low it was cheaper to stay on unemplyement and lookf for a real job.

Oh my god! I think that's a case of being so familiar with something, when you read over it, you just assume it's correct because you're looking for mistakes elsewhere.

My day is bad at work LOL. I sent a case off for settlement. The claimant's attorney stated they weren't on any prescription medication. I sent our life care plan for review. Low and behold, the claimant is receiving prescriptions and it wasn't accounted for. This is not going to be a good day.

I don't know how our doc didn't assume there would be Rx being that the claiamt only went to physicial theropy for increase pain and had little results based on the medial records. Common sense would say if PT isn't working then the next step would be medications.

My only hope is that the medications are not related to the claim so they can be excluded, but I don't feel all that lucky.

Hey Dpan. Going to be racing Saturday, then heading off to beach right after, and then a family friend is having a party on Memorial day.

Damn Jpal, that sucks.
