Is it applicable to your 6cyl? You might be able to spend that money elsewhere on mods that will net you more power, or better airflow.

It's worth it if you have mods that actually require a tune AND your tuner of choice uses diablosport.

I am an authorized Diablosport CMR custom tuner. I have yet to see any of diablo's 93 octane off the shelf maps generate more power then stock on the dyno thus far with any of the mopar stuff..However, custom tuning the car is a different story, but "is it really worth it for your application" is the question.

+1 if I had an srt4 I would definitely be using it as well. I tuned a 500+hp srt8 charger on saturday and it was a breeze, came out great

If you want to tune, you need a WB or you can say ka-boom when you go WOT. The handhelds are great if you are only going to do simple boltons. Afterthat, they become worthless. Only good thing is you can always sell them used for $225 or so.

The handheld units support full custom tuning via CMR software.

That software isn't even avail and per their forum it won't be for years. So you buy the haldheld and have to have someone tune it for you anyway. Sounds like it would be a better deal to just get HP Tuners and a Wideband.

The software is available you just have to buy it. I highly doubt it will ever be available for free if thats what you mean, they pay alot of engineers alot of money to be able to get to where they are now.

Last time I heard, they weren't releasing a verson to be used by the general public for years down the road, if that. I know they have 'dealers' out there that have the software and all, but not something a regular Joe can really get.

When you buy the software you become a dealer, it is just assumed..Don't need a buisness or anything just need the $$ and it is not cheap if you are just planning to tune your own car, you'd be better off with a motec M800
