I use my debit card for everything even if I have like $50 in my pocket. If I continue to save the way I am for another year, I should have enough money for a decent size down payment on a house.

Dpan, CDs aren't worth it unless you have serious cash going into one. You don't get a whole lot of interest and you'll get penalized if you have to take it out.

I usually carry about $10 or less in cash unless I know I'm going somewhere that only takes cash... lol

I used to cash all of my check, put none in my bank account except exactly enough to cover my bills. I spent a lot less money when I did that.

So I'm using Mint. I'm finding it really helpful. I'm really seeing where my money is going. It's making me feel kind of bad though. I spend a lot more than I thought I did.

Just got a 1st gen. ipod touch for free..because the kid said it was broke and wouldnt work..charged it, cleared EVERYTHING off of it, updated the software..like brand new. haha
