i have finals first week of may then im done! the 5-7 should be in my possession next week, and the classes have openings in june and july at classic pistol, its one day and 3 hours (its 75 dollars, but they supply guns and ammo and its taught by a doctor not a cop which i think is cool)

I carry in the waistband everytime I leave the house pretty much, and have a permit to do so.

But for christ sake, seeing all these people butt hurt over it makes me want to open carry just out of spite. Granted I never open carry because its just pointless in my opinion. All it does is draw uneeded attention, and I dont want to make somebody feel akward around me because of it.

like most people have stated in this thread, I'd rather carry and not need it, then need it and not have it. i dont have a gun yet but will be getting one soon and will be getting my cc.

and if anyone thinks there is no reason to ever carry a gun must not live in reality. they have to live in a little fantasy world to think bad things dont happen and would never happen to them. keep dreaming.

If you are thinking about OC'ing at this meet make sure you read this link. A few years back in Lebanon, PA a woman decided to excercise her right to OC at her childs soccer game.

I wont tell you how i feel about the need to open carry and what it says. But remember if you do and make other poeple uncomfortable the police will first worry about their saftey when they see a gun. Then they will investigate if the person carrying the gun is acting in safe manner. In the end, the headche it can cause is not worth the excercising your open carry rights. If you like to carry and have a CC permit, just conceal it. It makes everyone's life stress free.

Yes and poor Meleanie Hain was murdered by her own husband.

Of course, the decision to revoke her license to carry concealed was retarded, since it just meant she had to open carry everywhere.

Thanks, I'm well aware of the story. My point was, as a punishment for open carrying, they took away her license to carry concealed, which means the only thing she could do after that was open carry.

"Heyyy, you can't do that! But I'm gonna take away your license to carry concealed, so now you have to open carry. I know this is a punishment for doing that in the first place, but oh well!"

I undersatand what your saying Jul. What i am saying is that all she had to do was pull her shirt over waist band and there would have been no issue.

I understand what you're saying and I don't disagree, but she must have cared about her rights a whole lot and I can't disagree with that either. It's not even worth discussion, however, being as she is deceased, killed by her own husband, and she didn't even have her gun to defend herself.

Figured I'd start quoting sources like everyone else has hah. I have friends who live in Mohnton, Shillington, Exeter, etc. I've been into Reading several times, my father even worked in West Reading, right off of 422 there. I know it's dangerous, though I never physically witnessed any crimes as I try to avoid downtown as often as possible ;-)
