Top Ten Excuses of the Guy Who Lost The iPhone Prototype

10. Couldn't call Apple for help because I lost my iPhone.
9. I'm more of a Kindle guy.
8. You mean besides being drunk out of my mind?
7. Distraught Kate Gosselin kicked off 'Dancing With The Stars'.
6. Thought there was an app that would whisk it back to my house.
5. It must have fallen out of my iPants.
4. Volcanic ash! Run!
3. Let's just blame Goldman Sachs.
2. At least I didn't lose my finger like that iPad guy.
1. It didn't work anyway -- it uses AT&T.

Huge corporate embarassment for Apple and a fired engineer or a clever plant? You be the judge.

right now I have the LG GR500 and don't do anything crazy with it.

but when I had the first gen IPhone for 2 years, I was on the net all day, sent close to 4000 text messages a month (when I was single LOL), used Google maps all the time, and had TONS of apps... like seriously... 3 or 4 pages full of them. The only issue I had was battery life, but we all know that doesn't affect service unless your phone dies.... My phone used to get HOT during the day... issue? probably eventually would have had hardware issues yeah... but other than that the phone never skipped a beat, and I STILL have yet to have ZERO service. I haven't even had a dropped call... ever.

Whatever the case, when Verizon get's their iPhone, I will be a proud owner. I have been holding out to upgrade 'til it happens.

I meant data-heavy apps like Pandora or Qik. Any hiccups?

I had Pandora yes with no hiccups, also had Iheartradio which streamed amazingly. even when it was hooked up through my ipod cable to my headunit in my car. I had dynolycious as well but I dont know if that is "data heavy".... I can't think of anything else off the top of my head. It's been a while since I broke that phone/had to use my gfs old one haha.

I try to use Qik every time my friend lets me use his Iphone and it's choppier than the seas in the Perfect Storm. It gets even worse in the city as there are more users in there. Out here we could get a good signal if we are in the woods or something lol.

Don't get me wrong, I've had a 3G iPhone for a year and a half and AT&T for 5 years with no plans to switch, I just thought it was funny.
