.MOV conversion tools?
Anyone know of something to convert .mov into something workable for premiere/after effects?

On a Mac just use Handbrake. On a PC I'm not sure, Compressor can handle it I'm sure but you might not have that.

Yeah, I have a mac now. Is handbrake free?
The only reason why I need this conversion tool is because the encoding on it is proprietary (forget the camera which I got the footage off of) and adobe isn't friends with it...

Ah that's annoying. Handbrake might be the best free program ever. Rips DVDs and CDs really easily and can convert just about any audio or video.
