Yes, but there's a huge difference in body language between a dog running at you to kill you and a dog running happily at you. Either way, I don't expect people to be able to read that kind of behavior properly, hence why I don't like to take the chance with him off leash.

There's nothing like a little stupidity to wake me up in the middle of the afternoon.

I've seen pit bulls a lot. Some are nice, some aren't. If you need to understand why...meet the owner of the dog. Some people like to treat their pets like **** and this is the result. They ruin it for everyone.

This is complete non-sense, I dont see it happening since there are quite a few large pitbull rescue centers across the US.
However, some of you all might be old enough to remember in the past all the other dogs that people where deeming dangerous. I can recall the: Doberman's, the Rottweiler’s, Chows, German Sheppard's and now the Pitbulls. What the general public fails to understand is the simple fact that animals in general are going to act solely depending on how they are trained. If someone does not go to the extent of learning about a certain animal before obtaining it and neglect it of course its natural instinct is to lash out.

This can also be proven with something as simple as Iguanas. If the owner doesn't actually handle and get it use to being around people it will whip and in some cases bite.

Also people seem to animals are just like people; they have personalities and sometimes just don't want to be bothered. so yes they will lash out. Everyone one of us on here can attest to that. However, when it comes to dogs, such as the pitbull. No one seems to understand these dogs are very sociable. Most, of them love being around other animals, people and yes kids. If they are out casted left outside, getting little to no attention other than food and water and the random hygiene. They like other dogs, get separation anxiety, where there have been reported cases that a dog will bite not hard just to keep the person there with them. It’s nothing more than psychology, whether its animal or human.

Here is the biggest thing about the whole pitbull battle. The media only reports the bad of these dogs. Never, will you ever see an article in the mainstream where they show a family that has had pitbulls all their lives, running around and playing with children. Nor, will they report on the fact that there was another random animal or person that was attacking a family member and the family pitbull protected the loved ones.
As in the case where a Chow broke through a fence to get into my friend Bill's back yard and attacked his wife who was hanging cloths out to dry. If it wasn't for Rage "a 7 year old Pit", Tony would have been injured more than she was. Luckily Rage, came running, growling and attacked the chow, sadly the Chow was killed by Rage. But immediately after words Rage ran to Tony whimpering and trying to lick her wounds as she was calling 911.

Why is that you never hear about things like this? Simple my friends, the media in general turns everything that you watch, listen to and read into a battle. They continuously feed uneducated masses nothing more than Pros of cons of whatever topic happens to be the focus of that time. McDonalds is bad for you, but you can feed a family of four, right around 12.00. This country is doing this different from everyone else, while this country is attempting to bring this idealism and is trying to force their own opinions of how things should be down a totally different cultures throat. Even the battle of mother nature vs. civilization. So its natural you have sheeple of the world that don’t know to feed into the bad of everything. Including the bad of pitbulls because, no one ever takes the time to actually learn anything. Instead, they sit there in front of different types of media getting spoon fed how to think.
