My microwave's light bulb went out like... a year ago. Its a microwave/oven combo that is built into our cabinets and was kind of a mystery as to how to get in to change the bulb. Since there's no obvious way to get to the top of it.
After looking at the manual, its a 'non-serviceable part' and I'm supposed to call Kitchenaid to come out for a house call who will charge $200 + $50 for the bulb.
F that! Just spent a while figuring out how to take the framework of this puppy apart and slide it out so I could access the top. Seems really silly, but I'm feeling pretty victorious right now. Ordered a new bulb for $8 shipped and it should go back together pretty easily now that I know how to solve the puzzle.

thanks, haha.
Why did it take a year? My best guess is that I only think of it when I'm using the microwave and I notice its dark inside. That means food is being prepared. When food is being prepared, I cannot focus on anything else aside from eating.
Oh well, happy to have finally addressed this totally annoying microwave issue.
Now to go watch LOST and then hopefully get to sleep...

Should have called Fred, he would have wired it into the Supra with triple capacitors, and you could have kicked back with a Rockstar! lol

Ugh, just got back from NY. 21hr work day, and I still have homework to finish before 9am. Thinking I'm going to start with some Ellios, and then kick this business out.

dude Ellio's... its been so long but I could go for some right now. My favorite frozen pizza is undoubtedly Stouffer's French Bread Pizza... if you haven't tried it you really should. Cook it with the microwave/toaster oven combo... its unbeatable!

Morning all. It seems like it's finally going to be a nice day after all this rain for the past few days.

Morning everyone! Working from home today so I can be here when the insurance adjuster looks at my car. Glad it's going to be a nice day today. Maybe I'll get to open the windows to enjoy it.

Jul, you can change your ride info under your avatar! your car isn't in the shop anymore!!

It's supposed to be windy and mid 60s. Not that nice, but better than rain.

Morning all. Hope you all are doing well. Just another long day for me with both jobs.

Dpan, you naughty kid you. I didn't think you'd be trying to get in on both of them hahahaha.

Low, I think they are reruns, so I haven't been listening to them the last couple days.
