I've been in the real world a long time, just go with the program and do the assignment. You'll have a boss soon enought that doesn't give a **** about how you feel.

Just learn to bull**** all of those papers. Every college requires a ton of very nearly useless courses where you need to make up nearly everything you write.

It all depends on your major.
I'm taking Engineering, and yes... I do need all 4years to cram everything in.
Agreed but engineering still requires you to take all the core classes that fill a lot of space (and cost a lot of money) while you take pre-reqs.

it's obvious you don't know what you are talking about. There is always something to be learned and applied in life no matter what you are doing. in fact by this statement alone i learned a lot about you and your work ethic. I would not hire you based on this statement alone. You show no drive and no willingness to think outside of the box and try to apply knowledge to other aspects of life.
It's kind of funny to read your comment about how people jump towards negativity right before you wrote this lol. I agree that there's always something you can take out of a situation (or class) but sometimes it's very little and comes at a high cost (in this case it's monetary) so chances are that I could use the time and resources more wisely. As for the rest of your comment, making that many rash assumptions from what he said is pretty unreasonable. I agree that he shouldn't be hired based on his comments if the job opening is to teach creative writing, interpretive dance, or something like that but to say that he has no work ethic because of his comment is just unfounded.

Oh so you are, whats that called... a hypocrite? do as i do not as I say????
You certainly do have many jobs... You could only have one job if you took education seriously and applied yourself. But then Like you said

I sure hope your doctor didn't take that same ignorant approach to life and education.

oh and I'm sorry i didn't know we needed to ask for peoples opinions on an open forum like this? you stated yours so i stated mine. i figured that was fair.

Do I think four years of useless classes is necessary...no. Half the classes I have to take have nothing to do with the career focus. Is going to an art class going to really help me manage a company...NO. That's my theory on why college is just plain dumb.
the whole idea of college is to further your education and expand your knowledge with a specific concentration. it's not a trade focus where it can be done sooner.

you know there are mandatory classes and then classes you can pick and choose? Art wouldn't be mandatory for an engineering student.

Actually we're required to take an art class as part of the university's core program.

I can't think of four negative things I say to myself regularly. I swear if a professor gave out this assignment when I was in college getting my first degree in the mid 90's, half the class would have laughed at it and asked if the professor was serious.

It sounds like the professor has major self esteem issues and believes we all have the same issues too.

hahaha four negative things to say about myself wold be easy.
e.g.
1. I have no desire to do assignments that I see that are not only retarded but asinine as well.
2. I have a absolutely no respect for authority regardless of race, color, gender or sexual orientation.
3. I rely on Mozilla and word spell check because I'm generally smoking cigarettes while on my PC.
4. I really can't wait to get out of this class not because I dislike it. It's just a matter of I know there is better things I can be doing with my time.

lol yeah i would be the one to turn that in and about it.

Wow again you just sound plain stupid. I'm in school and I have 3 jobs because I prefer to have three jobs. One is technically a full time but I work less hours because I just keep it for the benefits and perks I get out of it. The other I cater weddings and you get a ton of money on tips for basically dicking around and eating catered food all day. The third is more of a hobby job. I could work one full time but I'm also a full time student so I suggest you take your know it all attitude and shove it up your a55 because no one cares.
