That's cool I'll have to do that some time. I live just out past Waddle Rd on Rt550 so I'm like 5 minutes from there. I can't use any of the automatic wash bays due to the soft top on the MX-5.

Are you one of the ones that has to go out and dry peoples cars off that go through the long automated wash?

Hey, I live on the other side of 550, out towards Stormstown. Do you go to the Penn State Car club meets at the BJC?

I go occassionally when I have time. I think they are all planning a trip to the PSU Harrisburg car show next Sunday.

Your Mazda is clean. Ever go to any semi-local cruises?

No haven't been to anything with this car. When I had my MKV GTI I went to a few things but nothing lately.

Not much is done to the Mazda yet. Just wider and lighter wheels. I have a long list of plans for it but waiting till I owe less to start. Plus I have the bike to hold me over in the meantime.

I don't think I've actually seen your car around. Though with working from home I'm not out as much.

Many, many thanks. yes, I was there. Lots of fun but the sleeper was not running well. Only mid to high 12's with lots of KR occuring. Then, while just cruising home I dropped a valve.
So, we wrenched a good portion of the summer and finished the new set-up by September.

Did you have a car at the Blouch turbo event?

Oh man that sucks. Sick car for sure, though. I hope I see it when its running right this summer.

I was only there as a spectator. No turbo car for me. While he didn't race, I rode down with a friend (15psi88 on here) in his Galant VR-4.

Really?

That's where I used to go to wash the egg before they closed down for the remodeling. I've been forced to use the bays at the small self-serve place by University Terrace since.

I take my car to that place. Sometimes...
It didn't get washed too often over the winter.

Someone there got a look under the hood of my car last week.

And for those interested, the PSU car club is having it's weekly meeting in the BJC parking lot tonight at 7pm. There should be a half decent turn out.

QFT

Looking forward to bring the car out for Spring time.
We also have a group of guys going to the PSU Harrisburg car show leaving Sunday morning from the BJC if anyone wants to make it out.

At the new Redline it's posted on a big sign in each bay that hand washing is not allowed. If I want to hand wash I just do it at home. Just sucks because my driveway is all stone/dirt.

mtsman your Regal is something I think about every time I see a Regal on the road. I forget what combo you have on the front when racing, I want to say slipstreams but they look sick regardless of what they are.

I don't mind washing in stone/dirt, I'm used to that with my driveway back home.

I wish I had a hose at my disposal so I could spend a day giving my car a proper detail. It's in dire need of one after my trip to Vermont earlier this month.
