To make matters worse some guy in a audi forum tells me to pm him the serial number and he can pull it up for me at work since he's a tech. So I do, he pm's me back and says he has the code and for $50 paypal'd he'll tell me it. What happened to helping out fellow car buffs?

Went to audiusa.com and called every dealer in pa and gave the manager the info. Each one said they would call me back in 20 minutes. Only one actually did. The conshohaken (sp?) dealer came through! Got the code.

In the end I spoke with 8 dealers in three states and the one to help me was te dealer 7 minutes away. Love it.
