Hey man I personally think the staff of the garage meet is doing the best they can. I remember when people used to say how strict our rules were at the BB meet. But fact of the matter is, you have to make some kind of rules and enforce them or else the meets get shut down. BB got to huge to control.

With CN parking in a stair well does appear completly harmless, but you cant always look at that stuff from our eyes. You have to look at it from a cops point of view, a cop just has to drive threw and see a car parked in the stairwell and then it looks like people are doing what ever they want in the garage and the meet will get shut down.

To me a meet should be nothing more than parking straite in a single spot, with ur music off, walk around and chill talk to other people BS. At the end of the meet you get in your car hope it starts, if it does drive out and go home, probably taking ur favorite highway and hopefully u time it perfectly with somebody else who is leaving so you can have a cruising buddy ;)

We out of everyone should know how the people running this meet feel, there is nothing that sucks more than trying to keep some kind of order to keep the spot alive, but people just do what ever they want. Honestly I think the people that run this meet do a really good job, with the papers and meeting and greeting people at the enterance. But no matter what you do assholes will always be assholes, its a shame.

I hope this meet lasts because it really is a awesome spot and I feel like in the summer time it will be pretty packed and fun.

I think gabe said in his post that he told the woodbury county not to let anybody use the parking garage for anything but its intended use because its too dangerous for a car meet. So i'm assuming the fiveoh will be kicking people out, but you never know it might be worth a try, a lot of people I know said they are going next thursday, So i don't know.

I hope you guys enjoy the police busting your guys balls... because they will. LOL. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.. GL with any kind of maturity at this location, as majority of it has gone out the window. With no permit to be on the grounds, everyone will for sure be given the boot.

Although maybe thats what you want people to believe, I will quote a letter from Chad M Bruner posted at the original garage meet thread page 1 post #1.

And I quote "Per your recent request, I want to confirm with you that our parking garages in Woodbury are open to the public and not restricted to people having business with the County or Court systems."

Judging purely by this letter alone, it can be deduced that having a permit or not really would not make a difference to people being there or not. Because like Mr. Bruner stated "The Woodbury garages are open to the public" And we are considered "the public"

So, just judging by this fact alone even if there is no permit on the grounds the only way they can kick people out is if people are being idiots, wreckless endangerment, burn outs, speeding etc. not because there is no permit to be in a public place as stated by Chad Bruner County Administrator. The real deciding factor being peoples behavior and nothing to do with this so called "permit"

P.S. In no way am I trying to be an asshole or start an argument or being argumentative, I am simply looking at the facts incase nobody has looked at the letter since December nor has it committed to memory

Hey, the garage is fair game, have at it guys, but it will spiral out of control for the most part, good luck and all. I really wish I could continue to care and such about it, but too much time and effort got put into the garage meet, with no one really giving a ****.

If you guys really want to go there, have at it fellas, be my guest, and if you guys can get it under control, that sounds great, it will most certainly be a challenge, but I am washing my hands of this one.

I only gave the county my advice on the subject matter (sorry if it came off as anything else), they may contact you and still say its ok, or they don't give a crap, either way, it is no longer my headache to worry about, and let me tell you...... it was a rather large headache...

i wasn't really planning on going back to this meet anytime soon so theres about 14 less cars right there for you guys...but dam...did someone die? what did i miss? when gabe came through at 10 i was ready to leave anyway and i didnt hear anything happen all night except some reving and music...was there a fight i missed? there were alot of cars there that i would be embarrased to drive to that meet...but there were some decent ones. for the amount of people that were there i think they handle themselves pretty well...unless i missed something?

Gabe,

wow, since you didnt want to run it anymore you told the police not to let anybody use it? that's a jerk move. that's the biggest cock block ive seen in a long time. just because you dont want to run it anymore you're ruining it for everyone else? pretty lame and selfish.

Totally agreed! In fact, I said the same thing in another thread. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so.

Apparently its to much to handle, but i also feel its better they gave up maybe the people who dont know how to follow some simple ****ing rules need the cops to come in amd kick them outto get it through their ricey heads.
Although I can say kid with the toyota with the bed cover should be kicked out if people still show up there considering he speeds throught the garage like a jack***. Red street dreams integra since for some reason he cant keep his music down. And some ricey saturn who felt the need to blast the tokyo drift song. Those are the only people i physically saw being dbags. Sorry if you guys are on here but im stating the facts.
