Remove bolt , remove filter, when stops leaking put back on and fill. When you see it done, you will be amazed that people actually pay shops to do it. Actually, alot of general maintance is that easy. Troubleshooting is the hard part that just comes with experience.

This does remind me, I gotta do my oil too!

i need to replace a wheel stud this weekend. i'll probably do my oil while i'm at it. and i think i need to check my radiator. i've been smelling some coolant after my commutes to and from work. No overheating, just smells...

my oil needs to be done as well... saturday morning perhaps... Ford recommends oil changes every 7500 miles with their specified oil... so thats what i did

It all depends on where the filter is. Some cars it is just a pain in the ass.

I don't remember the last time my oil was changed on the mustang because it was that long ago I drove it. Eek. And yes Dpan, my mustang is imaginary, just like it is slow.
