hmm... 2tb HD's are cheap... should i splurge and get one with a dual processor to serve media from?

i'm also thinking of getting an additional video card so i can run three monitors... one being my TV... i also need to figure out sound.

i'm thinking i may bite the bullet and upgrade my mobo as well to handle 16 gigs ram instead of the 8 it's running now... can't have too much power haha

Finally, after living here for almost two years, got a couch last night. When Chaz's would-be half brother brought it out, it fell off the hand truck. Luckily he caught it just in time. That's why you don't have 90 lb. kids working in a warehouse.

constant?

my old comp lasted for 5-6 years. i only upgraded the ram to 4gigs and the video card. the one i have now will last me another 5-6 if i didn't want to do anything new with it (like run media on my TV w/o switching from the monitors)
