it isn't difficult to be fit. lay off junk food and be active.

i can lay off junk food... but being a code monkey it is tough to stay active. I love working out in the morning though. currently looking at running shoes online... there is so much that goes into them. i think i'm just gonna pick up something for $50 and have at it since i don't know what i'm doing anyway

shoes purchased... back to work i suppose

i hate working out in the moring, i liked to work out once i was done with work (when i was in the military)

my issue is i eat alot. not junk food, but just normal food in general. Alot of people tend to be suprised how much i eat for lunch or dinner.

There was a really good article in Men's Health about picking the proper running sneaker. You can find it online if you have a few minutes. Each brand is kind fo geared to a either a high arch or flat foot. They way to know which you have is to dampen your foot and step on a piece of paper. The impring will tell which type of foot you have and what works better for you.

I am not sure if you ever been a super active and worked out in the past. so remember to stretch after you work out. Cause nothing feels worst than the day after your first few runs.

yeah, i read about the stretching... which is another thing i need to do... and i read about the different foots types. in the end... i just purchased this for $32 http://www.fogdog.com/product/index....entPage=search

i figure, i'll use them for a month or so then go to a running store. i've heard they can tell exactly what you need just by looking at the wear pattern on the tread. anything is better than my vans for running in... and it is very short term.

i was playing online last night, and some dude accused me of having a "hacked" car. he was pissed that my 300hp eg civic was able to keep up (and beat) his "maxed" out r34 skyline on the Nur-ring.
