That's me, same place as the other Jeff's pictures above. Scads of fun I tell you. The 3.5 hour drive home wasn't so amusing though.

There was a guy there that trailered a Miata in, and I think he was on R-compounds. It took him 30 seconds to go from the staging spot to the start lights.

Edit: Someone just posted (on the PhillySCCA forums) that there's almost no snow left, and it's gonna be in the 50s down there, and above freezing tomorrow, so I think we're good to rock and roll on the R compounds and summer tires!

There is no snow on the lot but the weather is going to be cold. The high for Saturday will be 35 degrees.

What he said...

I'm sitting in my apartment in Baltimore right now, and even though there are still piles of snow, most of the grass is uncovered and the roads are clean but damp. It was 60 degrees today, and it's supposed to rain some tomorrow, but Saturday is going to be cold and sunny.

Well my day absolutely sucked today. There was no possible way to get heat into the Azenis. This was my first outting with the Civic, but for heavens sake. I think I looped it like 2 times, and was just loose all over. No matter what I tried the rear would not stick.

Everyone looked like they had fun today. I woulda liked to talk to some of you guys, but it was just tooooo cold. Hope to see more of you at the Warminster event, and I hope it is warm. Also if you guys are looking for an event before that, March 12th, NEPA SCCA, my local region, is having an even at the Schuylkill Mall in Frackville, PA. It is a pretty old lot, with tons and tons of grip. Great asphault. If anyone wants info on it, I'll post it up.

BTW - Anyone get any pictures or videos of me? If so could you please e-mail to adamkob32@yahoo.com Thanks!!

Yes! I came in last in H Stock! I rock!

Hahaha wow that really sucked. I got beat my Pat Weaver in an '88 'Rocco on 6-year old street tires he literally pulled out of a dumpster and Steve Rosenberg who was driving a Prius! I got beat by an electric car! Of course they're both way better drivers than I am....

Well just checked out the results. Looks like I managed a 3rd of 21 in STS, and 18th of 131 in the indexed pax results. I guess that is not all that bad considering.

For my first time I managed 16th out of 18th in the novice class and 125th out of 131st in the indexed pax results. I loved every minute of it. I still have alot to learn about SoloII. I suppose more seat time and learning the car will help me improve a little overall.
