I decided not to stay in because im colorblind and the jobs i am qualified to do in there are not in my interest. And if youd rea before you go and make assumptions.. I cleared up the fact that i think they should have support the military in some way not serve in it. Because immigrants come here because its safe. but if they have no part in the military and arent paying government taxes... then why does the military owe it to them to go fight?

Are you supporting immigrants coming here and not learning english? And making communication harder then it already is? Because personally, i think they all look dumb. Wanna be gangsters talking like they never made it past third grade are just as bad to me as an immigrant that cant speak a lick of English. Im not all for that. it seems to me that your saying, just because some idiot Americans dont speak correct English, that its justified to you for an immigrant to come here and look just as stupid. correct me if I interpreted that wrong

No, I am saying that if you are going to enforce something or be for it i.e. being able to speak English, than you better be able to speak proper English yourself.

I do understand what you are saying, the thing is, it's a moot point. Nobody cares if someone uses slang or can't write a novel, only you seem to care because you have no other argument to make. While I can agree that it's a shame to hear people speaking in their own made up forms of English or using Ebonics and slang so freely, it still doesn't make it okay for people to move here and expect America to change or bend for them. When you move somewhere to live, it's fairly reasonable to assume that you should learn and embrace that country's traditions, language, etc. I understand that learning a new language can be tough and nobody really cares about those who make the effort to assimilate to their new home. It's the people who think their new home and it's people should learn their customs and languages. If you love your "homeland" so much, then stay there. But if you want to live in America, better start living like an American.

Ok so you get what I am saying. I am not disagreeing with you on learning English. I am actually 100% with you on learning English if you come to America. I busted my ass for 12 years in school to learn it correctly and if someone who decides not to learn it and "bend America" as you said in their favor offends me. Makes me feel that 12 years of my life went to waste.

FWIW my grandparents fell off the boat knowing only Polish. They learned English. Not broken, not some. Fluent. True story.

Oh, yeah, I pretty much learned a good deal of Arabic and Spanish in my years. Amazing. I had to learn, it was sink or swim.

I personally would like to see a hold on immigration until we're out of this economic decline. It would solve a good amount of our security issues too. Issue tourist Visas only.
Take money from immigration and put them towards some of the social programs Democrats like, while stopping immigration which the Republicans like lol.
