But seriously if AI does not come to practice, he can't teach a thing. He is known for doing what AI wants to do, not what's best for the team. Comparing McNabb and AI is insane, McNabb understand's he is part of a team. AI not so much.
AI was one of the best players when he was on the sixers. I would have the same attitude as him if the sixers were making me do all the work and not spending the money for another awesome player. All the sixers did was abuse the guy. Noy saying that he didn't like it, but what did the sixers honestly do for his career??? Nothing. If he were to be on another team when he was drafted or maybe had another sidekick for him, he might have won alot more championships.

AI... one of the best players, that was stuck with the sixers.

you are confusing talent with great player...

allen had enough talent to be the best point guard ever to walk this planet...it wouldnt even be close..but somewhere he forgot how to be a teammate and just worry about himself...yes he played with alot of heart, but it was never for the team, it was for his glory...

Basketball sucks, and the sixers suck. Ide trade the whole corporation to the washington capitals if they would give us Alex Ovechkin. Really, I think thats a better deal. Who cares what AI does here? He may sell more tickets, which is good because the Sixers suck so bad nobody wants to go to the games. But hes not bringing us a championship, just the 5 minutes of fame that the sixers need to make money right now.

I would trade away the sixers just to get the Phantoms back in Philadelphia

Holmer would be a god among men if he could pull that off lol.

I'm split on this move. Yes, Allen is by far the best Sixer to play in my 24 years(just missed the 83 guys), but like alot of other people have said, hes always been about himself. I hope I'm wrong saying this, but I think he'll take his role with arms wide open for 2-3 weeks, but if hes reduced to a bench role, he'll bitch like he did in Memphis.

On a side note, I haven't watched anything Sixers related since game 5 of the 2001 NBA Championship, but my 8 year streak will end Monday, with the introduction of AI. Most likely wont watch the game though.
