getting drafts doesnt always help so l would never worry about basically throwing away the season to get in the lottery. look at the teams that are always there, hence the clippers. they still suck and they are always one of the first picks. im going to cop a new iverson jersey as soon as they sell them and i hate the nba.

im a closet sixers fan.. i catch games here and there.. and they're atrocious this year. maybe ai can come in and bring some stability to the offense and other members of the team can focus more on defense. it may do wonders for the team.. who knows.

It's called sarcasm- don't be so defensive.

But seriously if AI does not come to practice, he can't teach a thing. He is known for doing what AI wants to do, not what's best for the team. Comparing McNabb and AI is insane, McNabb understand's he is part of a team. AI not so much.

The game on Monday which he comes back to is already sold out. Seems like it really worked for the organization.

I bought my tickets for Monday's game on Tuesday night because I saw Denver Nuggets and realized AI is back in Town.. I have always been a huge fan of AI since I was little..shoes jerseys and all.. He wants to be in Philly, unlike say a TO type person. I have faith that the Answer is back, but a smarter man that understands his role.. The off season has humbled him realizing no one wanted him.. I def do not see the sixers as being a team any higher than maybe a 6 spot in the conference, but hell.. it gives us all a chance to see one of the greatest players of all time play! go AI

also his press conference was def emotional... just look at his eyes you can see the genuine compassion for Philly..

if by "the answer" you mean to horrible attendance and revenues, then yes, he may be. but as a player hes taking up bench space and hindering the development of new talent. its a side show, stop gap measure for a mediocre team.

go celts.

development of most of the players, because as anyone with half of a brain knows allen is a ball hog and worried only about his shots...

There is no real talent on the team he will hinder development of, we have a bunch of nobodies a few guys who aren't NBA ready and some let downs we win more games with him an put more asses in seats.

The Sixers have had plenty of talented players over the past decade or so, we just can't figure out how to apply that talent.

I agree. It was a great move on the organization to get asses in the seat. They have one of the worst attendence records. No one cares with football going on and people would rather watch Villanova play than the 76ers.

i understand it was a great move to get people in the seats...but that is all it was...it WILL NOT help them get better, it will not help the young guys learn the game , it will not help them become a contender down the road, it will not get them a better draft pick..

You are most likely right. I haven't followed the team as much this year, but I was just referring to the organizational stand point.

I tihnk once people get over the hype he is so great and awnna see him play is over, seats wil drop again. Unless they magically start winning, AI won't fill seats that long.

Nah he won't really set anyone back like I said it would have only affected Lou Williams
and he is out, the rest of the so called talent isn't NBA ready and isn't ready o play alot of minutes
yet anyway and they can learn by watching him everynight and trying to pick up on things.

honestly imho i feel ai has something to prove not talent wise but as a leader and veteran on the team. And this time he understands what he is here for.
