My boss really doesn't do anything. The department fell apart and wasn't profitable until I came in and re-vamped it. I re-wrote prodecure, trained people, and took over a whole region that was origionally done by 2 people for the last 6 months because she is too lazy to hire more people. Hell, I even sent them resumes, even some from this site, and I still don't see any new faces to work with.

Keep in mind, even though I'm doing the work of what 2 people used to struggle to do, I still sit arround the office for 3+ hours a day bored.

It's hard to hang out with my friends when they are like 30 minutes away and we are all like on different schedules

Most of mine are married, in the military, or have kids. I don't get to see them much anymore and they are close. ALways something going on with me or them.

School is officially done for this week and I
got an 83 on my calc test. And I'm off work Saturday night. Life is great.

Lol, hardly any of my friends are closer than 45 minutes to an hour away from me. I have maybe two or three within 20 minutes of me.

Have you considered presenting your plan to the person above her? Its something that can backfire and cause you nothing but stress by overstepping her authority. Most managers would try to get back at you for such a thing. But the risk is that your plan is accepted and things get better.
