It's amazing how McCain figured he would choose a spunky perky women to get votes (and for nothing else) and have it turn into this POS thinking she's a successful politician. If I was a Republican I would be so god dam embarrassed right now.

Sarah Failin

Maybe the Republicans should just have Michael Steele say "holla at cha boy" a couple more times and have him run.

HOPEFULLY whoever the GOP has run is them true self and not some created Character for zing.

OBAMA 2012!!!!!!!

Also don't get me started on how its finally coming to light that FOX news is brainwashing.

Obama 2012 unless his commits some sort of ungodly unpopular act or something bad befalls him. If any of that happens, his approval rating would take a dump into the 40's or 30's(still 400% higher than Bush at his lowest) and maybe open a door for a GOP leader. A huge part of Bush winning 2004 was the fact that he had a lot of things going on during the election and people didn't want to vote him out and have Iraq spiral out of control. Obama, I think, will be in the same boat with the economy still recovering and ironing out a health care bill that is very messy and rough right now and when it passes it will get amended for sure.

I really don't see a true GOP candidate for 2012 except John McCain, but he is nuts and his economic policies are atrocious. You also can't really consider Limbaugh or Beck because they are clowns and entertainers, not politicians. I would go as far as even considering General Petreaus as a possibility. I mean, we ARE at war and will continue to be for decades, but he would ramp up deployments of specialists and civilian professionals in Afghanistan. A conventional ground war is not possible in Afghanistan. The greatest victories there came from intense intelligence gathering by special forces and CIA followed by powerful, smart bombardment and subsequent clearing of caves.
