The strike is a joke. Most unions should be shut down. It used to be about keeping this fair, but not it is about greed. How much do you think you should get paid to drive a bus? Honestly... and bitching that you want a cost of living raise when most companies are on a hiring freeze. Hell, I took a pay cut before I lost my job. Ungratefull bitches.

One of my co-workers brother is a bus driver. She told me that one of the main reasons that the strike is happening because Septa did not pass along money to the workers that was intended for salary? Is the info close to true?

Not quite. It's close. SEPTA got 400bil in taxpayer dollars already, and do not want to use it except to fatten upper management pockets. Whatever they don't give the blues, the whites keep as a bonus.

There are FAR more issues than that though.

That means that SEPTA already HAS your money. You already PAID for the workers and everything, but SEPTA won't give it out. And you're bitching that the union is greedy because the media is SEPTA friendly? Seriously.

And how is that any different then any othe company, yet the rest of the world, except for unions, go to work and not screw everyone else over.
