Oh yeah and my alignment is screwed. I think what happened is that I took it for alignment right after I dropped it on the new H&R springs. After alignment I think it dropped another inch or so. Basically it drives straight and handles well but it feels strange. Twitchy, unsure. In the rain I'm a little frightened to corner too hard but at the same time in general I'm driving harder than I did before. At low speeds (in a parking lot) when I crank the wheel into a turn hard, the car will almost grab the wheel from me and keep turning in. At full lock you'll hear the tires skidding. Something isn't kosher. Excessive toe out or toe in for sure.

my alignment wasnt bad considering I had the entire rear suspension apart when I put my motor back in. Only a TINY bit of toe out.

The front had some camber on the right side and some toe on the left side lol... it was kinda funny because the car drove perfectly straight.

I am amazed. I went to the E36 section of the BMW board to ask a question that is VERY common in E36's. I asked if anyone knew measurements to make the drift tool for a 320Z transmission for 5th gear. I got a reply saying this is not a Nissan board, and one said that he wasn't familiar that E36's had 320Z transmission and he owns an M3 which has a 320Z.

Wow, just wow.

If it was bimmerforums I'm not surprised. A wonderful bunch of retards over there.

Quick edit: I didnt' know that my M3 had a 320Z trans either. Only that it has a ZF trans. So I guess I'm half-intelligent ;)

Haha I just found your post. I have instructions for that job. I wasn't aware you needed any special tool. Frankly I'm surprised the trans you got has that issue. Mine still isn't sticky.

Its a hit or miss problem. And 96 and up M3's had the 320Z where as the older ones had the 310Z which is weaker.

As for the tool, there is a tool that prevents the bushing from collapsing along with having the bushing inserted the proper depth.
