The funeral will be held Tomorrow (Tuesday) at William Rowen Funeral Home in southampton. Vewing is from 9 AM to 11:30. The funeral Procession is at Foresthill Cemetary in southhampton. If its anything like joeys funeral, it'll make a grown man break down. i have never seen so many cars (both imports and muscle) parked in a church parking lot, almost looked like it was a meet if you didnt know any different. Hope all that can make it will, and those of you that can't will say a prayer or 2 tomorrow in respect for an awesome guy. This will be my second friend i'll see burried with a Honda badge in their hand in under 3 years. **** sucks

I heard from someone who knows Jess that he was drunk, passed out and later left and no one noticed. Don't know how true that it since I wasn't there, but this is the story I heard.

Condolences to all his friends and family. Me and a lot of other people here just lost someone very close to us. I know how it feels now.

He was super super drunk from what I hear, and the girl who's party he was at told him to go upstairs and relax. A few hours later, 2 cars down her street were broken into and one stolen. The 2 cars that were broken into had identification cards stolen from them, not important things like a laptop. The vehicle that was stolen was found on county line and bustleton ave wrecked and burned, Robby was killed in that crash.

We don't know who stole the car, all we know is Robby was the last one to be seen in it, but as drunk as he supposedly was, I don't think he would have broken into 2 cars and then hotwired another one, drove it all the way back from NJ without getting stopped, through the tollbooth, over the bridge, and all the way into the border of the burbs, 5 minutes from his house.

I don't think we will ever know what exactly happened

Here is what the owner of the stolen explorer had to say in our memorial group on FB
"Look just want to start by saying that i am sorry for the loss of you friend. I just want to clear the air about eveything. It was my ford explorer that was stolen early friday morning. I received a phone call at 7 am from the southampton police d...epartment saying that they recovered my truck and it was in a one car accident. We had to go to the police department. so we go to leave in our other car a pt cruiser but when we went outside to leave our pt cruiser was broken into and all of our paperwork was stolen out of that. we were asked if we knew anyone by the name of Robert Marandola and of course we said no because we do not know him. well they told us that he was the only person in our truck. he was traveling at a high rate of speed on bustleton ave. he launched the car crashed then flipped the car then landed in creek with the truck on fire. at bustleton a county line roads. we were told that he was killed.

we don't know if he is the one that stole it but he was the last one in it. we were told that he was at a party or something around where my truck was stolen. i have not been able to see my truck but we were told it is totale...d. It just really that this happen. for both parties. we have a special needs child and most of his stuff was in the truck that needs to be replaced. there are links on the internet from his friends stating the same thing. http://www.tristatetuners.com/forum/....php?p=1542516 that is the link that one of his friends put up. so i am sorry that you guys did not know the story. and as for carly she is my sister in law and she is just as upset as we were and she was just mad because everyone was making out like he did not do anything. i feel really sorry for his family i know that he was someone's son, grandson, nephew. and i would not want to be in their shoes right now. "

Good luck today guys. I worked with Rob a while back and just started running into him at meets again over the summer. He was an awesome guy and had an amazing heart. I hope everything gets sorted out in time with all of these stupid accusations and stories so he can actually rest in peace. His family and friends are in my thughts, especially today, while you say your last goodbyes in person. Stay strong, and remember to live his good memories out and disregard all the bad things that are coming out now.
RIP Rob, you'll be missed

That's a stand up guy right there!! (owner of the truck).. He had one car stolen/totaled and another broken into and yet he is still showing respect for a life lost!!! Hopefully some of you guys that like to throw around ignorant comments learn something from him and this situation.

Once again guys, sorry for your lost.

I thought she was referring to me, but I never said he was at her house, all I said was that I heard from someone she knows that he was drunk.

Hey, my condolences to all his friends and family. I didn't know the kid, but I worked his funeral today, and lowered his casket while his pop and family gathered around. nice of all those people to show up for him, not many funerals where parents get to see how many lives their kid has impacted. R.I.P.
