I have Verizon and my plan is up for renewal. I'm very interested in a phone that I can browse the internet with. I want to be able to get on sites like this and post while I'm on my phone...as well as the usual checking my e-mail bull****. I'm interested in people's opinions. I'm staying with Verizon so anything that Verizon sells is an option. I was originally looking at the Blackberry Storm, but the phone got such bad reviews. I don't think I want to deal with phone issues all the time. I just love the full screen. I figured that would work great with web browsing. After that, I was looking at the Blackberry Tour, but I feel like the screen's going to be too small. Then I came across the HTC Imagio and that thing looks awesome and got excellent reviews. I text the **** out of my phone so I need something that can handle it. And I know that any smartphone's going to have ****ty battery life...I've come to terms with that.

Does anyone have anything to suggest? So far I LOVE the HTC.

I still have my origional HTC smartphone on Cingular. Got it back in 06 and the battery still holds a decent charge! I just re-flashed it with WM6.1 and its a champ all over again.

Verizon def has a great network but I get a much better deal though ATT with my military stuff. I plan on sticking with HTC. Any WM6 device will be able to surf and post on the forum.

looks like verizon is coming out with a new phone loaded with google's android mobile operating system, i head early next month. i would hold off there is more information on the phone before making a purchase... so far i love my tmobile G1 with android. buuuut, it sounds like the verizon phone will come with android 2. so, i'm eagerly waiting to see what is coming out and maybe making a switch myself

DO NOT buy a storm they sucki used mine for a month and went back to my blackberry curve, ive had a curve for the last 2yrs battery is still good even when im on it all day, i just got the tour last week its mutch better for web use the screen is much clearer and its all around a faster phone, once your go blackberry you never go back

I have a storm and I have had it for almost a year and went and had it replaced once, due to dust under the screen. This was a problem with the first ones but the problem has been solved. Other then that I love this phone does more crap that I ever need but it nice to have all that stuff there. It takes some getting used to. Honestly the storm has been the best phone I have ever had or used. If you are interested in a blackberry then go to Crackberry.com and check that site out has a ton of info on all blackberry phones. But try the storm out it awesome

i have a storm too, I have had no real problems with it except for the need for battery pulls now and then. I have heard alot of people having problems (mainly with the earlier ones).

I have had the Storm since August and haven't had a single problem. It took a week or so to get used to but after that it was fine and I don't know how I survived before without a blackberry lol. The Storm 2 is coming out this week I think, I would suggest checking that out.

yah. i love my G1, and that has android 1.6... i'm looking forward to seeing what android 2.0 can bring to the table. And i'm hoping tmobile comes out with an android 2 phone, but i haven't seen any mention of it. I haven't had any issues with tmobile, so the only thing that can make me switch to verizon is the motorola droid.

but, i'll probably me impatient and not wait for tmobile to do their thing... i'm sure there is a new phone in the works w/ android 2, but... waiting sucks!

i have an env touch,love it. has full keyboard and full touch html browser email etc.

Damn dude! I was going to pick up the HTC Imagio today...but now I don't know. I'm SOOOOOOO impatient, but that Droid seems pretty sweet!
