Hella Horns

Hey is there any sites out there that have samples of the Hella horns. Also where are the best places to shop for them?

I am looking for something, pretty high pitch I guess, sounds sort of like an air horn. Any suggestions, I know a lot of the Subaru guys on here are running the Hella's, I think anyway. Thanks!!

I got them, hella twin supertones, super loud. There are two versions, one made in india and one set made in germany, the german ones are much louder and should be around $65. Pick them up from Safedrives.com, super good site and the guy Charles that runs it is mad cool. Hope that was enough info.

the indian ones are 113 db and about $45 for a pair and the german ones are 118 db and about $65 for a pair... not much difference really in volume or price either. the german ones are higher pitched whereas the indian ones are slightly lower pitched. they are both quite loud and quite annoying though, haha...

Thanks for all the info guys. I'm starting to think that one of the trumpet air horns is more of what I am looking for. Those systems don't seem to be too expensive though either.

How loud are they? I know they are measured in db's but is 116? Will it scare the **** out of another car when they try cutting into your lane without them even looking?

Won't scare me, but hell if I see a brush guard on a truck I would think otherwise

I have had Hella Horns istalled and was dumb enough to think that they were not that loud from inside the cabin. So i went in front of my car and asked my friend to hit the horn when i gave him the signal. They are really !@#$ing loud. My right ear was ringing for a few hours.
