Meet thread bellow is still active and does happen. Come out next time.

Otherwise, I don't know. The car scene in DE isn't that big I guess. The people that are here and have participated maybe don't understand that. What I mean is that it is a small car scene so that's as big as it's going to get. Doesn't mean, in my eyes, that people shouldn't come out and have a good time if they want. Or claim it's "lame". It is what it is.

If you want a big car scene move to Cali, or NY/NJ area or something because you won't find it here.

The website should be the most up to date info.

www.verociousmotorsports.com

I dont work there anymore, because I went back to school.

But DE isnt that bad. Yeah there are a lot of ricers, but There are also a lot of real nice cars/ and a pretty good number of exotics. Were close to a couple tracks, and also all the Major East coast Cities. Meh to each his own.

I agree with *ICE* There is virtually no tuner culture in DE at all...and the ones that are here are either ricers or people who think their cars are the best ever and hate on anything else with wheels. We've got a good group of cobaltss.net guys around here, but other than that there pretty much nothing.

We are hosting a track day on Oct. 19th this month at Englishtown Raceway where D1 events and Redline time attack were hosted at!! Most of the DE ppl just not as hype up as the ppl in the other tri-state area. Many places in the tri-state will have some events or meets so car enthusiast can gather around and keep their interest in car but I guess most of the people around here just want to settle in the way it is now.. is sucks....

Ha!

I dunno about that man. I know for a fact, that I, and a few of the other Subaru drivers that I associate with are not "ricers or people who think their cars are the best ever and hate on anything else with wheels." There are, however, a number of Subaru's that fit that description and I admit that.

I'd beg to differ on your Cobalt buds. I'm not saying you nor am I saying that the people that do it are your buddies, because I obviously don't know, but the Cobalt's that I see act like immature fags that rev and speed past me. If you ask me those are the ricers that ruin everything.

And why don't all you that claim you get on the forums come out to meets and create a tuner culture. Hey that's an idea!!

I can agree, however, that the Wednesday date clashes for many people. Meet dates always clash with someones plans. It's unavoidable.

I can post a weekend meet right now, but you guys will still say, oh DE is gay there's no one cool.

Everyone just takes sides with the people that drive their cars, but that's human nature, so get over it.

And if the Cobalt guys are so chill, why don't you bring them out to the next meet along with yourself. I'd love to meet some new people.

First of all I am not a man lol. I've done my fair share of the show/car club scene around here and from what I experienced its mostly a bunch of haters...I wasn't calling out anyone in particular just saying what I have experienced in the past and why I've stopped going to meets/events. You guys could be different I dont know...again I was just saying what I have seen and not personally attacking anyone.

Theres about 5 or 6 of us from css.net who hang around together plus cobaltsschic and the01cav. All of us are mid 20s in age and dont do any of that gay reving crap. The cobalt kids you are probably seeing are not associated with me lol. Maybe its just my age finally showing but I can't stand any of that retarded crap.

My biggest beef with anyone that's into cars, in DE particularly, is the maturity level. Be HUMBLE and don't act like a dick head. Be seen not heard. That simply ticks me off. What do you have to prove?

For instance, there's a white turbo charged TSX around with time attack wheels. It's a CLEAN car, but the driver is a douche. Now obviously there is a chance that he's cool in real life, but him revving and speeding in traffic to "show off" puts the douche impression in my mind, and the mind of other enthusiasts around. Yeah, don't judge a book by its cover, but that's the way it is.

Seems like you've been around longer I guess. Is that a fair assumption? Meaning you've been in the car scene for a little while and attended meets where the things you listed have happened.

As far as the people you named, are you guys in southern DE? the01cav seems like a very nice guy. He came to one of the meets earlier in the summer but he lives pretty far down south. Otherwise, I think you guys should come out to one of the Wednesday meets. There has not been a big showing from TST members in a while. The people that do show are the mature group, I promise you that.

There's a red SS with a loud exhaust I see in Newark often, specifically in the Cleveland Ave. area. Young white kid driving it. He's revved at me in traffic and sped past me to I could hear his SC'er.

I have also gotten the treatment form a black SS as well. I've seen him around Newark also, around the route 4 area.

Other cars include that white TSX I mentioned above. There's some RSX's that do it (orange one and silver one).

Yeah I think the biggest problem is maturity. I don't drive like a retard and hate people who do. I've spent way to much money on my car(s) to risk ruining by being an idiot lol.

I've been around the scene a good while...been modding cars since I got my cavy when I was 19 and I will be 26 on saturday :-). I've seen alot of b.s. go on...heck the OC show was the only one I did this year. I'm in Hockessin, theres a couple others up this way but most of the other guys are in the Symrna/Dover area. I've tried to make the Wednesday meets before, but its hard with work usually after work I am BEAT lol

I've seen that black SS before...I think. I don't know about the red one? The only red one I know of is Ricky...its got a carbon hood and black wheels.

(I hope you can sort that out...I didnt feel like quoting everything haha)
