So, I still can't wear real shoes because of the whole swollen ankle/foot thing. Flip flops are normally ok for me through October, but seriously... My feet are cold right now! I wish I had slippers at work!

Weekend was super nice and relaxing. Time to start getting some strength back in my leg and foot this week. Already super excited for this coming weekend already =]

Weekend was fun. Nice weather and Julie and I took the bike out for a long cruise. Replaced the wheel bearing again in my car but snapped my 10MM hex socked. Fresh trans fluid and rear diff fluid are scheduled to be delivered today! Wahoo for smooth shifting.

Gonna go home today and wash the car up nice, hopefully I can clay and wax atleast the front half today and the rest again tomorrow.

No BS, 90% of the time when I change the oil on a vehicle I manage to tip over an open quart of oil. Sometimes if I'm really lucky it's one of the 4-5 quart jugs. Yesterday was no exception... And the motorcycle oil is like $10/qt :-/

Isn't it funny that a bike that takes 2.5 quarts and a filter cost the same a doing a 6 quart car oil change.

Yeah the bike is almost 4 quarts so think pricier. But the m3 costs more. Lubro moly synthetic is $8-$10 or even more per liters and I need 7 liters. A good oil filter is $15, but I've been cheaping out and getting hte purolator or whatever from advance auto now that they carry bimmer stuff ;)

Yeah you are right. Was a little slow the whole time. Was suprised to see that 13 had to leave though. The first 2 hour episode was great though.

Spilling oil makes a mess. Do you keep any Oil-Dry around or cat litter? Those both really well to clean up spills.

They both help soak up the spills but still leave marks from where the oil was.

I spilled oil once, I used brake cleaner on the cement in the garage, worked like a charm.

I had a friend that showed me that trick as well. Sprayed brake cleaner down on the marks of the oil, put some fire too it, cleaned it up for the most part.

I didnt know that brake fluid helps get out the stain. Does it work on old stains too or just for fresh spills?
