Initial numbers said we made about 4100 at the show between entrants fees and raffles. That doesn't count sponsor donations which were also very generous. Thanks again to everyone who helped make it a success.

And yeah, that green TA is a friend of Adam's and mine. Built motor and a T76. It runs well but not to it's potential. He is afraid of grenading the rear diff.

I knew it was forced induction but didn't see a turbo and he had one stock manifold and one turbo manifold w/ heat wrap..

His rear should have already blown. 10 bolts are about as strong as an eggshell.

Have you ever looked into getting "matching grant" money...like maybe from a large, benevolent bio-med company who'd be willing to match dollar for dollar what you get at the show...sort of doubles the benefit fund? Seems possible.

I don't know who the person that runs this event, but kudos to you. I was at last years show at Peddler's Village but was unable to attend this years show. My car club did have a few cars at this year's event and I WILL be at next year's event!! I have a friend who has CF and that is the reason that I like this show. Unfortunately, she lost her battle with CF the day before the show on 9/19. I really respect the person that put this show together many years ago, what you are doing and all that help with running the show, don't let it die out!!!! Causes like this one is the reason that I started my car club, to give and help those in need!!!!!

I'm guessing the pictures that were taken when you first pulled in will be emailed to the owners within the next few weeks?

Dont quote me on this but,.....I doubt we will be sending any pic's out of the cars taken by the the lady at registration. We may perhaps keep/use the shot of the cars that won for future advertising. If anything the pic's will get put up on the CF Show myspace/facebook pages.......you can steal them from there

Other guys who help with the show....if I am wrong please correct me:

hey cool someone got a pic of my car. i thought i showed up too late. lol and like i said before great show wiht the style of cars and everything..very different imports from what you would see at a "tuner" show.
i did hear a guy say, for suggestions, that you showed line cars accordingly to like class so its easier to judge. that is hard with people rolling it late but its an idea.

That would be me and my friends: Paledsm, dangerousatom, (on this thread) and several others. Thanks for the compliment, we work very hard every year to make it happen. CF has impacted every one of us. That's why we do it.

Very very sorry to hear that. I and about 5 other guys and girls put this thing together each year and we have no plans of slowing down now. We want to do more for the cause with each passing year. One of the core members of are group is living with CF and we lost his sister to CF back in 2003.

I noticed your car on the way out. You were parked next to my Spyders. Very clean car.
It is a compliment when you say that it isn't like most Tuner shows. We are very happy to have a high level of import car show up. I think it really helps garner respect for the cars from other non import owners.

The problem with parking according to class is we don't pre-reg. so we have no clue what is going to show up until the day of the show.

btw sweet spyders hahaha i felt a little awkard at the show cuz i was alone so i had no one to talk to at all but its all good i met a few guys. once i get to match cars with names/faces itll be all good lol

It can be a little weird at first but everyone is extremely friendly and just about anyone you approach will sit and BS with you for most of the day.
