Well there's 3 different type of catbacks they have. And I definately wouldn't do SLP LM1 and offroad midpipe. Way to loud. I just have SLP LM2 and I've gotten compliments on how it sounds.

SLP sounds like crap on most cars. Its just loud and doesn't have a nice tone for the most part.

idk how hickrockets slp sounds but I know of someone with SLP and one with the steeda catback... while the steeda is alot quieter it has a much nicer tone. The SLP is loud as hell but it lacks tone.. almost raspy.

You get more of the raspy sound with the offroad midpipe, more of the offroad x. The SLP LM1 is a straight through muffler (which is loud enough with stock cats), basically nothing inside to deaden sound. The SLP LM2 has a fiberglass packing on the inside that deadens the sound some. The last catback which I can't remember the name of (no not LM3 haha) last catback, but that's kind of like a Flowmaster type muffler.

I still have the stock midpipe which has 4 cats.

i'm going to be getting long tubes and more than likely a catless x-pipe. if i wasn't getting long tubes i'd just get catless and swap the mid pipe for emissions, but i sure as hell ain't swapping headers.

Ken, if you go to a shop that doesn't look underneath for cats, just get the mil eliminators which is what turns the codes off.

I don't know if my dad's friends shop would do it for you, but both my cars went in for inspection. All he did was put connected computer to it and as long as it didn't throw codes he put stickers on it. I'm sure there was something on both that would of kept it from passing.
