Well i totalled my car 2 weeks ago and just finally picked up a new car. Its a 2002 Dodge neon R/T with leather interior. I have to go to Ohio this Saturday to go pick it up. Well here are some pics what do you guys think and give me some suggestions of what i should do to it.

i wanted a srt but i wouldnt be able to afford it because insurance would be double and only got about 6 grand from insurance for my car but i really did want a srt.

did you actually look into the insurance on an srt? they really arent too bad

i know i have state farm and they just seem to treat it like a different trim level, but its very little, if anything more than a regular neon.

yours isnt bad because your insurance thinks its a neon

Yea i got some quotes on it and it was pretty close to double remember im 17 i think the R/T's good for me now later on ill just go F/I. And yes the insurance company does think its a normal neon so its good for my wallet.

they know its an srt, they just dont seem to care.

just save up a bunch of money and buy an srt motor from a wreck when you can afford it.. probably just as costly as going turbo on the 2.0

didnt know you were 17, so i can see how the insurance would bite you in the ass

rt is a sweet ride though

Not a bad lookign car, good luck with it.
I almost bought a red r/t motorsport a few years back. It was a very nice car but im happy i didnt buy it for a lot of differant reasons.

Yea that is a good idea to do a srt swap into the r/t but that will be sometime down the road and i think that the r/t will be a fun little car to have, and talontsi97 why didnt you buy the r/t are there any problems known with them.

I went and looked at the r/t one night two days later i went back and it was sold. They wanted 10 grand for it. I was goign to buy it but it was sold. I was real disappointed then but after thinkign about it im happy. It had very dull paint but other then that really wasnt bad.
Im just happy cause for less then that i got my talon and to me it a whoel differant car with more things that fit my personality. Plus srt's were just comign out and i woulda always been thinkign botu them instead of the r/t.

It looks as if the paint and everything is in good condition just gotta go pick it up tomorrow. I guess theres a different car that suites different people so its no big deal. Im probally going to do suspension mods before engine mods.
