Well, I am at it again. Back to some birds. This time I figured I'd share some hummingbird pics from this past weekend. These are some fast moving TINY birds! Getting the focus to lock on them was a challenge and quite fun. All of these are with the D3 and 300 2.8 or 70-200 2.8VR wide open and hand held. The background is actually the side of my in-laws cabin in up state PA.

Great shots. At my parents other house there are quite a few that fly around their bird feeder. They are so tiny.

Those are great shots the background color (The cabin I'm guessing) really helps the colors stand out well!

nice shots. i like that last one with the lighter background the best but they all look good
