Twin Turbo S2000 by Epic Tuning

On this project, along with the customer, we decided it was time to get creative and do something a little different in terms of S2000 forced induction. The manifold is all hand made and laid out so that runners 1 and 4 spool one turbo as 2 and 3 spool the other. Two Garrett GT28RS turbos utilizing .63 a/r t3 housings were used along with two Tial 38mm wastegates. The air feeds through 2.5" polished aluminum piping that attatches to a custom V-mount intercooler and blows off using a Tial 50mm unit. The exhaust is sent through dual stainless steel 2.5" downpipes to full 2.5" cutom stainless steel exhaust finally exiting out Burns mufflers. Precision 880cc injectors and a 3 bar map sensor were paired with AEM EMS to take care of the air/fuel levels. Finally the car was sent off to Evans Tuning where the car was dyno tuned producing 475whp and 320wtq at 15psi and on 93 octane gas. At this point the kit has much more potential but the customer only wanted this much power for now. Here is the link to the tuners site with more info on that: http://forums.evans-tuning.com/viewt...hp?f=29&t=5532

That's a bit rediculous. There's so much room in that engine bay. Makes me wonder why I haven't seen these things before.

+100 for originality and fabbing! I do have to question the efficiency of adding all that weight (2 turbos, piping, etc..) into the engine bay though. Probably added a good 200 lbs easy.

And must be a sick tune, thats crazy number out of a stock 2.2 I4.

a hard top tow hook/ plug and you are definitely mag worthy...

can't wait to see this in time attack or road racing action.
I love the flat torque curve!

Not really a fan of TT setups on 4 cylinders but it's definitely clean.
