how much is this worth?

my photo was picked for an art show and i have to put a price on it for a silent auction. i was wondering how much i should put it up for, i get the price i put down, and whatever extra money goes to a fundraiser. im not sure the exact size but its around 15x10

this version isnt photoshopped except the bw conversion

2 people at school including my teacher said i could get atleast 200 for it, so i decided to put it up for 200. i was going to pass on the show because i thought id only get 50 for it and id rather just hang it in my room, but i can always print another. the people at the tasting show probably have too much money on their hands so i think i have a shot at it. its matted so it doesnt come with a nice frame.

200 seems pretty steep to me, especially for a photograph. kudos to you if someone snags it for that much but your original guess of $50 would be more like it

unframed photos wont get nearly as much... but at the same time proper framing isnt cheap. i think $200 is a lot for that unframed from someone who hasn't sold anything previously to establish a 'value' but you never know.

its worth whatever someone's willing to pay... ****ty answer but there is no other answer when it comes to art.

yeah i figure 200 was steep but my teacher said it should sell because the people buying the art are rich lol. anything over 200 is going to some fundraising thing so that might help. i figure id rather keep it then sell it for 50 because it would probably cost me 30 bucks to have it printed somewhere, and i spent atleast 2 hours on it and froze my ass off in 40 mph winds, id rather just keep it. it would be cool if they could put best offers on it but i dont think it really works that way, i wont even be there to collect the money. a ticket for the tasting thing is 125 bucks so im sure there will be people looking to spend some money, and i think there will be around 500 people there so that helps with the odds.
