Lol, so instead of being slightly too short, you're going to make it WAY too long??? Official games are played on 8' tables. You're better off just sticking to the 6' tables and doing more cups or best of 3 match-ups. OR, if you really want to get close to official length and have the space, just put two 6 footers together in a T formation.

Id be down.

Water in the cup is a good idea though especially if you have people driving home. Only thing you have to do is make one set of rules for the game. Everytime I go to a party everyone has a different way of playin.

If you like playing on a 10' table, suits yourself, but it needs to be at least close to official spec to host a tourney. Never in my 6 years of playing hundreds of games of beruit and pong have I seen either played on a 10' table.

If you want to challenge yourself, try playing beruit instead of just increasing the table length. Once you're good at beruit, misses playing beer pong are few and far between.

I vote against water in the cup. In my opinion having a huge tournament means that by the end you have to have control of yourself tipsy / drunk (depending on who you are).

I've played when people have used water / Gatorade in the cup and I find it kind of stupid.

With that said I'm under 21 so I won't be there.

well i'll go ahead and vote for water cups. using beer in the cups is kind of stupid. makes a mess if someone throws harder and knocks one over. it's also nasty drinking beer that has hairs and other random particles from the floor in it. at any bar that holds pong tournaments you always use water. that way people can drink their own drinks and not be forced to drink whatever cheap piss-like beer gets put into the cups. why buy a s**tload of dirt cheap natty light just to fill pong cups when you could just have people drinking what they enjoy? personally i drink liquor (and i know a lot of other people do as well) so i have no interest in drinking cheap beer just because it happens to be part of a game.

that being said, i'd consider being a part of this. gotta get details together and then i know a few of my friends would be in. the only problem i can see coming up is a space issue. do you really have enough room to hold a decent tourney?

As much as I agree beer in the cups is where its at I believe Water in this situation is a good idea. And yea there is plenty of room at Justin's house.
