Any business owners on the boards?

I was just curious if there were any business owners on the boards...car related or not.
Still trying to make up my mind on exactly I want to do with myself down the road. I have a great job now and no problems with it at all, but wondering if my old career goal of becoming an entrepenuer is reachable these days.
Success stories? Failure stories? Advice? etc.

I am assuming you do side work as your own "business" aside from your regular gig.

my dad branched off from a company because of how he was being treated. he went from being a salesman making 75k a year to owning his own business making over 200k. but he also works 80 hours a week and is always on the road. you get you what you put in i guess. he loves owning his own business though, he would never go back to working for someone else.

I spoke with you about yours before through PM I think and you have a pretty solid thing going. Did you find startup capital easy to come by? Your business doesnt require as much money to startup as some, but was it like from savings or people helping you out?
I feel like achieving startup capital for a larger expense company would be very difficult to receive. When it comes to hundreds of thousands just to start, people become hesistant without a bulletproof business plan in hand.
