When I called Centerline they wanted like $260 a piece for the polished one's then I think an extra $80-$100 for each rim if I wanted them chrome. They also were going to charge I think like an extra $100 to ship the rims. So if I wanted to get the rims from them it would have been well over 1K just for the rims before tires. The cheapest I can find the centerline's for are $837.22 shipped. So add on an extra $378.50 for tires and the total comes to $1,215.72. I would still need to get the tires mounted/balanced, set of special lug nuts, and valve stems for the rims.

If I was to go with option #2 those Liquid Metal Static rims for $707 shipped it would include a wheel install kit (lug nuts and tool) and chrome valve stems. Add the tires on and my total would be $1,085.50 which is less then the Centerlines and also have 2 more things over buying the centerlines.

Its a hard choice I like both rims the only thing that has me going towards the centerlines more are is most certainly the weight. I don't expect the Liquid Metal Static rims to be as light as the Centerlines. The Centerlines are around 15lbs each and the Liquid Metals are most likely around the 24lbs to 28lbs range. However even if I get the Liquid metals it will still be less weight vs my stock rims and tires. My stock rims and tires weight 51lbs each (204lbs total) vs a possible 47lbs each (188lbs total) with the Liquid Metals. However if I was to get the Centerlines and tires it only be 38lbs each (152lbs total). I would be saving a total of 52lbs or 16lbs off my car with my new rims/tires which would be great.

I found a picture of what the #2 option Liquid Metal Static rims look like. Even if they are the 4 lug and on a Mini they look pretty darn nice to me. I may even like #2 option rims instead. Pretty much it comes down to how much those rims weigh vs the Centerlines. If they are only a little more I most likely will just go with these.

Oh yes... it has already been done before. Do you guys think I should go with 20"+ rims instead... be snapping axles all the time lol. The only good thing about having massive rims like these is you can pretty much walk under the car.

First 97.5-04 Regal GS with 26's... ballin!

I vote get whatever YOU like man. This is a sick car, I got to park one at my dads shop once, and it was like the 3rd car I've ever parked. And This i wanted to just take around the block a few times. Their nice ass cars, and quick too. You can take it to my dads in Northeast philadelphia, he usually has alot of these cars, He'll take care of it. As for mounting and balancing, he takes his time and got like the brand new hunter machines. I'd recommend him. www.pinevalleyautorepair.com

I loved that regal on the centerlines you posted before. but their mad expensive.

I'd only go with an 8" rim, you'll need the extra rubber. In which case I think #3 looks best of the 8" rims by far.

Yeah I really wish I had the chance to see these rims in person and on a car like mine. I just hate to purchase a set of rims that look good on picture but when mounted on my car look bad. I hate picking out rims its so annoying lol. I think #2 are going to be the ones I want to get. The only thing I am worried about is the spokes stick out a little from the rim and if I was to ever hit a curb.. ouch.

BTW that picture of the regal with Centerlines is actually Navy blue and not black.

Well I called the wheel companies and got the weight on some of the rims.

#1 Centerline Storm's are 15lbs a piece

#2 Liquid Metal Static's are 24lbs a piece

#3 TSW Vortex's are 27.15lbs a piece

#4 TSW Asan 5's are 21.00 a piece

#5 TSW Trackstar 5's did not bother

#3 and #5 are definitely not an option for me anymore. #3 are heavier then my stock rims and #5 I lost interest in.

So Its between the first 3 rim options. Just waiting to hear back on wheel prices.

I most certainly like the look of the #2 Liquid Metal Static rims the best. However the weight of the Centerline Storm's definitely has me attached to those as well. The Storm's are 15lbs vs 24lbs for the Static's. Even if I was to go the heavier Static's I still have less weight vs my stock rims and tires. 51lbs (204lbs total) for each stock rim/tire vs 47lbs (188lbs total) for Static's and new tires
