After contending for the Drivers’ Championship in the Grand-Am Koni Challenge last year, the Subaru Road Racing Team (SRRT) returns on May 2, 2009 to New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) which serves as the third round in this very competitive road racing series. Returning drivers Kristian Skavnes and Andrew Aquilante will share driving duties in their #111 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT spec.B sedan.

To celebrate Subaru’s corporate partnership with NJMP, we are pleased to extend a 10% discount on race day tickets for Saturday, May 2nd, or on a Saturday/Sunday ticket package for that weekend.

ill be there sunday to watch. never been there to watch yet. been there a couple times for PDA's tho. ill also be there the monday the 4th with the SCDA for an open track event. i love that place.

Saturday, in the the SWC TC race Andrew Aquilante finished 3rd in the Phoenix/ICY WRX. He started in 8th and was in 3rd by the exit of T1! The Saturday afternoon Koni race wasn't as great, a 9th place start and a 6th place finish in the LGT, though he was up there fighting for 3rd/4th for quite a while. The Koni race will be on Speed on May 9th...I forget what time. The Speed World Challenge races should be on soon too.

Sunday the race went the distance. It got really freakin' wet so I left at 2.30ish...passed Klevis going over the Walt Whitman.

Cool vid. Andrew is a great driver already. Geez. The vid said they had to stop for gas and went from 3rd to 6th bc of it. ah. Ive never seen Klevis move as fast as he does in that vid!

My legs ache, the pain beginning deep, unbelievably deep, slowly creeping up through the layers of my consciousness, finally reaching the threshold where my struggle to ignore it is overcome and it comes gushing out in great spasms.
