i se it as a good alternative for the k-series. i mean the s2000 motor puts out about 240crank hp... that vs the 200 stock that the k-series does.

then you can get the same, if not more power, out of the s2000 motor (race cars producing 270-300whp to the rear wheels). plus the block has forged internals stock, which will make 500whp with ease

Yeah, its def. not cheap to do but Im sure its much more rewarding knowing they did it with a 4 cylinder rather then just buying the biggest engine like most do to get those times. Its all about rootin for the underdogs.

I think so. They give a mod list and I think theres some room for more power + maybe a wheelie bar to keep the front down. Not to mention its the stock trans (they blew 1st gear I think it was on last run) so different gearing could also help. Their best time with the car was 9.3's

Heres the mod list from "Green_gobblin" on honda tech (the driver i think)

800 WHP

Allenbuilt shortblock
Stock bore/stroke
Stock port cylinder head
Stock cams
Springs/retainers
Inline Pro sidewinder turbo kit
Garrett 4294R turbo
Driveshaft Shop driveshaft and axles
Inline Pro diff kit

That car has 933 rwhp now. Not sure if CFT's car has hit 8's yet, but they are right there too

The F20c is an amazing motor - tons of 500+ and even 700+ cars in the tristate area on STOCK MOTORS
