i was 20 (i think) when i bought my evo. there are so many young people around where i grew up outside of boston that drove cars like that at such a young age (and way nicer cars too) that it left a sour taste in my mouth i guess.

either way, those billboard battles are funny as hell.

I think you need to stereotype people as being "assholes because of the car they drive" vs. "people who drive THIS specific car are assholes." Subtle difference, but it's very true.

Douchebags are douchebags... doesn't take a badge or emblem to make them that way.

Proven fact, eh? Every make/model community has its share of idiots. I've been on the M3 forums (M3Forum and M3Post)for 5 years and a very small percentage of those who I've met have been anything but good people. Same thing can be said about TST. Met a lot of really good people but there is no denying there are idiots here, too.

Then again, there are a few BMW forums that are horrible IMO and could easily give off that impression (I stay far away from e46Fanatics and Bimmerforums).
